Wow! She was a little peanut wasn't she? They're both so cute. Big, sparkling happy eyes too.

So cute! How neat that they are pictured with the same toy!

Both are darling! I guess 5 pounds is a big difference when you are under 20 pounds. You'd never notice if I lost 5!

Lucas maybe younger but at the rate he's growing he's going to be her "big" brother in no time :-)

But they are both HUGE on the cuteness scale! :D

Look at your tiny peanut! My Brenna had that exact same outfit (Kayla's) and wore it on Easter that year when she changed out of her dress. Awwww. You're bring back memories of my two pumpkins, having long since shed their baby-ness. :0)

They are both soooo cute!! I can't believe how big Kayla is now. It's a testament to enjoy those baby years. They grow too fast.

Gorgeous little ones! My children were very different in size also.

I am impressed that Kayla was standing at 9 months! And Lucas at 7! What are you feeding those kiddos? Of course I recognize the toy they are leaning on.... I have one on the floor behind me now. =0) Small world!

Kayla was such a tiny little munchkin compared to Lucas...he's going to be a big boy:-) xoxo

No fair to compare! Just kidding! I remember it seemed like it took forever to get Gabi to 20 pounds!

Both are very adorable babies!

Precious babies.... My heart melts for Kayla!
I am doing the buddy walk this month with my Cayti girl. She lights up my life.
Cayti's dad is an engineer and he and some others are in the process of building an apartment complex that will house Downs syndrome adults. It is going to be a major undertaking but we are going to do it. It may take 2 years to get it set in, and I am praying about living in the apartment complex and being the 'caretaker" I have been praying about it since Cayti" dad told me about it and it is something I would love to do.
I am very familiar with the Green oaks school and they already have 6 adults in there school that are already prospects, this school teaches the adults how to maintain a home and out in the work field, so they are becoming very independant. Chuck came up with this idea because Cayti who is 12 always tells her parents she wants to live in an apartment when she graduates, that she does not want to live with them after she turns 19, so they thought it would be wonderful to teach the kids independance so they can have there goals like anyone else.
It is awesome to watch this unfold.
Cayti is so smart, she can read on a 9th grade level and she is smart in math and boy can she spell. She is in 6th grade this year.
Sorry so long just wanted to share all the neat things about these awesome kid's.

What beautiful photoes - I love seeing them together as they were at the same age.

well, aren't they just the cutest!? I love comparison pics like this!
Lucas really has the size thing going for him! What a big, growing boy (I can't believe he's 7 months old already!) Little Kayla was such a cutie!! She still is, but not in such a baby way :)

Aww! I love these pictures! It's cool that they're both by the same toy for the comparison. Kayla looks so sweet and teeny; and Lucas looks like a big boy. Both are sooo adorable. Nate is small for his age. He's 9.5 and only weighs 50lbs...
