The Blame Game

I didn't think it would happen so soon, that Kayla would blame Lucas for something, but she did.

A few days ago Kayla, oh how to put this nicely, had some gas to pass (oh these poor kids - is nothing safe when you have a mom who blogs?)

She didn't say anything afterwards; usually she'll say, "I tooted, cuse me." So I asked her if she did. Her response, "No, Lucas."

I know it wasn't him because he wasn't even in the room.

I wondered if she was actually saying Lucas did, as in putting the blame on him, so I asked her again if she did it it. "Lucas" was the response again.

She's done this a few more times since then too. I'm surprised how easily that came to her!

3 months old and he's already getting blamed for stuff his sister does!

I know you didn't mean this to be a funny post but, honestly, I'm thinking a few years down the road when Lucas will be a little boy and he will find it hilarious that his sister blamed him for gas. He might not appreciate being blamed for other things, but most boys are good with bodily functions, even proud you might say.

It only gets better :)

It has begun!

Once when my husband was holding our new baby at the mall, she let out a huge toot. A woman happened to be passing by at that moment and gave my husband the dirtiest look you ever saw. He opened his mouth to explain, and then realized she would never believe him. It was hysterical!

Kayla is funny! What did you decide about the fall? We completely changed Joe's plan and reopened his IEP yesterday morning. It has been so stressful figuring out what the next best step will be for him.

Too funny. It gets no better with a big sister and little bro I tell you.

Just wait until Lucas starts crying because Kayla has a toy he wants and you accuse Kayla of taking his toy. Sibs learn quick.
