One word to describe Lucas today is: Sick. Poor kid. 5 weeks old and already has his first cold :( I guess that is what happens when your older sibling is sick and wants to be in your face all.the.time. He sounds pitiful and so sad when he cries. I hope they both feel better soon...because the one word to describe me this morning was: frazzled!

Sorry Lucas isn't feeling well. I totally relate to older siblings getting in there faces. Grace was holding Noah on her lap the other night and he didn't want to be there. He finally grabbed her cheek and pinched her. One word? Precious.

That's not a word I use lightly. But when I think of how my perceptions of kids with DS have changed...how normalthey can be...Kayla is one of the first kids that comes to my mind. I like reading about her, because I feel like maybe it's a preview of what life might be like for my daughter. If we're lucky.

We've had to teach Judah that kissing the baby on the mouth is a no-no. She's had 3 cold in her 12 weeks of life. And one of them put her in the hospital.

I think the only way we can sign up for CB updates is if the site was made after a certain date, which ours was before....Kayla is such a good big sister, when I see her she reminds me so much of Sydney, Im wanting to cut Sydneys hair like Kayla's but it makes them look so much older, and she IS my baby!!!
