Here are some pictures of the newest member of our family.
When Kayla first came to see him she saw him in the bassinet and said "oh baby!" When she was sitting on the bed with me and Joe put Lucas on our lap she seemed a little less sure about having him so close! She wanted us to put him back in his "bed."
Then she started to warm up and all she wanted to do was tickle his face. She puts one little finger up to his cheek and says "tickle tickle tickle" and giggles.
A few times when either Joe or I were holding Lucas she had her arms out and said "I have it please" LOL I think she's going to be a good little helper with him!
Eventually I'll get his birth story posted - what a birth story that was! It was a lot harder than when I had Kayla that is for sure!
Hoping we'll be discharged sometime today...thanks for all the congratulatory wishes and for sharing in our joy!

Oh Michelle.. Kayla is just so adorable!!!!!!!!! Loved her laugh and her saying in a high pitched voice.. cute and then tickles him. and she said, Lucas real clear!! He is soooo cute! You all look adorable together, and once again Michelle - you look so glam! That's so good you don't have to stay in so long. I was 5 days in the Maternity Unit with Emma due to an eye infection she had (they wanted to diagnose first) and I was eager to get home to my 2 year old son (who had a stomach bug) and my hubby.

One thing I remember about each time I had another baby was when the sibling visited they automatically looked so much older!

How precious and I am sure Kayla will be a good helper. We I had our Joey, Luke who was five at the time started crying. When I asked him what was the matter he said he wanted a brother who could play. He said Joey can't do anything, play ball "he can't even walk". It was hard explaining that Joey had to grow a bit first.
