Antiquities

A couple of months ago I mentioned our MOPS group had an Antiquities fundraiser. I didn't post any of the pictures from Kayla's photo shoot because they were Christmas presents for the grandparents, and Joe!

So now that they've received their pictures I can finally share!

Then they gave Kayla a couple of props and she was more interested in playing with those ignoring our repeated callings of "Kayla! Kayla look over here! Kayla look up! Kayla!"

Especially when they handed her one her favorite things - a tea set! Then it was all about pouring the tea!

When they gave her this phone she immediately picked it up and said "hi daddy! hi!" and proceeded to have a conversation with him, she must have been listening intently to what he was saying when they snapped this picture! So this is the picture I had to send Joe :)

Thanks so much for sharing them with us. The one on the phone is just priceless and makes me misty eyed just thinking about it. Godspeed to Joe as he comes home soon! Still praying for his safety every day.

What beautiful pictures. I love the one of her and the tea set. I'll bet Joe LOVED his picture. Some of the best pictures I have of the girls are candids when they're doing their own thing.

How have you been feeling? I have a lot to catch up on. :)

Gorgeous Michelle! Simply beautiful. I bet your family and Joe just loved them so much. She is such an angel, she truly is.

With all our problems at home I didn't get Joe's card out for Christmas, but I am writing him a letter because I still want him to know how much Kayla and you have meant to me this past year. And I also want to encourage him and thank him for what he does too!

Thank you for your prayers! Mom is doing well, but my SIL not so good. But she has all of us here for support and she knows that. Hope your week is going well and your feeling good too!

Wow, those are great pictures!!!

I'm so excited! I just had to tell you that my sister-in-law's plans have changed (as usual) and she brought the twins to stay at my mom's (5 minutes away!) for the whole month!!!! I do feel bad for my sister in law that she didn't get the time off that she wanted, but those boys...well, I love them so much. They are so cute, my heart hurts when they aren't here.

Read your other post - charming lady, some people are just totally non thinking and quick speaking I think!
