Favorite Ingredient Friday
These Southwest Stuffed Burgers come courtesy of the Kraft Foods website...I find so many of my recipes here!
We had these on the 4th and we all gave them a "two-thumbs up" - they were really good and a nice change from the typical hamburger.
1. 1-1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef or lean ground turkey
2. 1/4 cup Light Mayonnaise, divided
3. 1 pkg. (1-1/4 oz.) Taco Seasoning Mix
4. 1/2 cup Reduced Fat Colby & Monterey Jack Cheese Crumbles
5. 1/4 cup Thick 'N Chunky Salsa, divided
PREHEAT greased grill to medium-high heat. Mix meat, 3 Tbsp. of the mayo and the seasoning mix; shape into 12 thin patties. Combine cheese and 2 Tbsp. of the salsa; spoon over 6 of the patties. Cover each with one of the remaining patties; pinch edges together to seal.
GRILL 7 min. on each side or until cooked through (160ºF). Meanwhile, combine remaining 2 Tbsp. salsa and remaining 1 Tbsp. mayo. Top with salsa mixture.
Kraft Kitchen Tips:
Make Ahead Stuffed patties can be covered and refrigerated up to 4 hours before grilling.

I hope to see you again next Friday!
Those burgers sound really good! I like knowing someone else has made them, and they really do taste as yummy as they sound. :)
