Where Do You Eat Out?

Ok I've been tagged for this restaurant meme three times so I guess I better get to it!

The rules are:
1. List your 5 favorite restaurants at your location.
2. Add a direct link to your post below the name of the person who tagged you. Include the city/state and country you're in.
Nicole (Sydney, Australia)
velverse (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
LB (San Giovanni in Marignano, Italy)
Selba (Jakarta, Indonesia)
Olivia (London, England)
ML (Utah, USA)
Lotus (Toronto, Canada)
tanabata (Saitama, Japan)
Andi (Dallas [ish], Texas, United States)
Todd (Louisville, Kentucky, United States)
miss kendra (los angeles, california, u.s.a)
Jiggs Casey (Berkeley, CA, USA! USA! USA!)
Tits McGee (New England, USA)
Kat (Ontario, Canada)
Cheezy (London, England)
Paula (Orange County, California, U.S.)
Jeff (Colorado, USA)
gekko(Arizona, USA)
Norma (Columbus, OH)
Janeen (Cleveland, Ohio USA)
Michelle (NM, USA)

If you've ever been to this town you'd know it would be hard to pick 5 top restaurants to eat at! Besides that, I just don't eat out that often - I'm frugal like that. So I'll pick 5, but they aren't all in specific to this area. And these are in no particular order:

1. Memories - this is probably the only really decent restaurant in town! Their baked potato soup is wonderful and probably the most ordered item.

2. Casa de Suenos - This is in the next town over, but when we have out-of-town visitors they request to eat here for some good Mexican food.

3. Edelweiss - When I lived in Colorado Springs I liked going here for some wonderful German food.

4. Outback Steakhouse - Is there anyone who doesn't like Outback? I really like the bread there...one time Joe and I had such a great waiter, he brought us out a fresh loaf of bread to take home with our leftovers.

5. Applebees - Yes this is another chain restaurant, but it's actually in our town! I really like the Fiesta Lime Chicken, and I'm a creature of habit so I usually order this all the time!

The 5 people I'm tagging are (all in different countries too!):
Trace
Christina
Julie
Karen
A Special Family

You're right! Outback is yummy! Just wish it wasn't so expensive. It is worth it, though.

Apparently, Outback is a great place to eat if you need to follow a gluten-free diet! I ate there for the first time two weeks ago, and it was yummy.
I love the name Edelweiss for a restaurant - it sounds so light and pretty, completely opposite of the way I feel about German food!

Fun to read, Michelle!

OK, have to admit that my only time at Outback's was in VA. about ten years ago and they brought me a burnt steak.
So...last time there.

But maybe, just maybe I should give them another chance out here...it HAS been a decade! ;)

Have a good weekend! :)

I really like this meme Michelle. We are in a definite "eating rut" - and it's nice to learn about some new places. We love Outback too and were just given a gift certifcate to have dinner there. We may just use it this weekend.
Have a blessed day.
