Magical Moments

Last week Emily from Lovely And Amazing tagged me for a "Magical Moment Monday" in which she shared a magical moment in her daughter's life, and asks "what magical moments do you have in your life?" Unfortunately I was too sick last week to get a post up, but I have one now!

When you have kids holidays become some of those magical moments. To see the excitement, wonder and pure joy in their faces on something that is out of the ordinary of the day-to-day life. Kayla gets such a kick out of dunking eggs in the colored water and watching them change color. She has such fun running around trying to find the eggs and holds each one up as if it were something never seen before. So here are some pictures of our "magical moments."

At Joe's squadron's BBQ last week.

Wouldn't be complete with a trip down the slide!

She absolutely LOVED going on this "zip line"

She did pretty well holding on by herself too.

Coloring the eggs her own special design

Having fun dunking the eggs

Watching as they magically change color.

We didn't have the snow a lot of you had for Easter, but it was a bit chilly here, so Kayla had the perfect warm dress (from her grandma) to wear to church.

and of course a video clip...I love how when something is fun and she wants to do it again she says, "again?!" And in her Easter basket (besides a few chocolate pieces) she found sunglasses, playdough, chalk, and a jump rope. She is so cute trying to jump rope!

How adorable! I was having such a bad day today. Everything that could go wrong happened. I saw a Kayla video and got cheered up. Her videos always bring a smile to my face. I just love how she jump ropes! That is just so cute. I remember when your godchild did the same thing!I had to play the video again to watch her jumprope. She looks so grown in her dress from grandma! The pictures are so cute. You all look so nice.

Michelle, the pictures are all just adorable! I love the ones with her with just daddy and then mommy. It is so fun to watch new discoveries through our child's eyes. I always fell like a kid again!

I hope you don't get tired of reading this and I'm sure others feel the same way, but that daughter of yours sure can make my days brighter. Not that I have a bad life~I did just win another prize as you know! LOL! But she is such a sweetheart. I am looking forward to reading the book. I'll let you know when I get it!

In His Love, Amy

It's such a blessing to be able to capture these magical moments for all time. Those are indeed some pretty precious moments. I love her Easter dress - just perfect.
I wanted to share a precious moment from our choir practice with you. One of the men who sings on the praise team has a little girl, Holly, who has Downs Syndrome. She is a few years older than Kayla. She is the sweetest little girl. She likes to come to practice with her Dad. She just stands quietly by his side the whole time, listening to the music and watching him sing. She never makes a peep and never even moves away from his side. I just love watching her watching him.
Thanks for sharing so much of your magical moments. It blesses my heart.

I haven't seen the video yet cuz I'm at work right now looking at pictures of Kayla! Bad Nisa! The pictures are so beautiful. I love the first one of Kayla coloring eggs. She looks so peaceful and sweet. All the pics are great but that one just made me stop and stare for a sec. I love the zip line pics too. Joe looks like he's having as much fun as Kayla i those pics. We have a park with a zip line here, but it's all rusty and jerky and no fun at all anymore. Her Easter dress was too cute. She looks so grown and her hair looks perfect. Did you guys have nice weather? It was about 40 and gloomy/cloudy here but we had a blast anyway. I'll send a link to my pics soon. Thanks for coming out from behind the camera for the last pic before the video. You look great. And oh yeah... Nate got his e-card and wrote back to you already.
