I'm Thinking

I'm sure most of you have seen the Thinking Blogger Award that's been going around. I've seen it on a number of well-deserving blogs, but didn't pay a lot of attention to it, because I don't consider my blog one of those that makes people think.

And that's ok. Really. Because I know I don't write a lot of thought-provoking posts, I'm not a writer and I know that, and I'm ok with that. I just don't have a way with words. Most of my posts are pictures, videos and ancedotes about Kayla, oh, and recipes! I've written only a handful of posts like this Treasure Tuesday one, Guilt, Expectations, Speech Language & Communication, Enough Smart People, and Mommy that I would consider "serious" posts.

So imagine my complete surprise when not just one, but five, 5!, wonderful ladies 'paid it forward' and gave me this . Thank you to Nicole, Kathleen Marie, Leslieann, Carrie, and Sue for passing this award on to me!

Now comes the hard part - I have to chose 5 bloggers to give the award to. You all make me think in one way or another, and I wanted to chose bloggers who hadn't received this award already, so here are 5 bloggers I've chosen for this award:

This Is Me - Laura is a single mom to her adorable son Aaron. I enjoy reading about their life, seeing pictures of the quilts and other sewing projects she has going on, and reading all about "Aaron's Antics."

World According to Julie - Julie has made me think a lot lately in her quest to "go green" and be more environmentally conscious. She's made me think about what other little things I can do as well. Plus she posts pictures of her 2 beautiful daughters!

Shamptons - Shelley makes me think mostly about what it would be like to have twins! Her "brats" (as she affectionately refers to them) are quite a cute pair and I so enjoy reading about their latest adventures!

Just A Country Girl - Deb is one who was blessed with the gift of telling a story! I know when I go visit her blog she'll have spun a story that leaves me in stitches, or tears! She's a wonderful writer!

Life With Cheryl - Cheryl does a Random Tuesday post that always gets me thinking! She'll post questions on some topic or other and invite readers to share their thoughts/answers in her comments section. I also enjoy her scrapbooking layouts!

It's not that easy to only pick 5 bloggers! So here are the rules now that you've been given this award:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme.
3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote.

Congratulations - a well deserved award. Thanks for nominating the shamptons too - no way do we come anywhere near Big Blueberry Eyes for thoughfulness or thoughtprovoking-ness but it was an honour to be tagged.
