The Universal Language of Kids Everywhere

and I should mention universal attitude too!

The other day I was on Julie's blog when I saw this video clip she posted of her 2 yr old daughter. I had to laugh because it is very similar to a video clip I took of Kayla a couple of weeks ago! You'll have to watch both videos to get the complete effect of it.
After watching both videos again I realized mothers everywhere are pretty much the same too as Julie and I both asked almost the same questions!

Aww Kayla is very cute!
I think you are right about it being a universal kid's language - I know Alice used to do that a lot, now its 'I don't know' or 'I can't remember' to every question. Yesterday we had this conversation: 'What did you do at school today Alice?' 'I don't know!' 'Did you do some maths?' 'No' 'P.E?' 'Can't remember!' 'Literacy?' 'I don't know!' 'Did you do anything at school today?' 'I don't know'
That conversation occurs most days, apart from the odd times when she actually says what she did!!!

SO cute!!!!
It does amaze me to see children right at about the same age and how alike they are in what they say, how they react, the things they think are funny, etc.
Kids are just wonderful, and yours is such a cutie pie!!

Well, congratulations and get-well-soon to your sister, High-Five to the hubby, and hello to your little Kayla! You're definitely right about the universal language and attitude! Oh, wanted to say, we were over at a certain friend's house, feeding her certain little Kitty, when my 10-year old said to me, Hey! That's Kayla, isn't it! She was pointing to a little photo magnet on my friend's fridge (from the walk I think it was? But yes, that was her!!). Funny huh! I didn't realize they were reading over my shoulder when I visit your blog...

Wow, the videos are a like! I had a smile on my face while watching both videos. All mothers do go through that. It is so cute when they do that when they are little.I just loved the video of Kayla. I had to laugh because if you look into her eyes it is like she enjoys telling you no.What a little stinker! She is just too cute for words. The videos of Kayla always brighten my day!Keep them coming!!

Both girls are so cute! Why is it cute when other peoples kids say "NO" and I get so frustrated with my own when they do the same thing?

I love listening to you contain your own laughter. What a gorgeous girl. Don't you wish that you could do that sometimes - just tell someone no and no and no. One thing I'm trying not to squelch in my own little girl is her willingness to be HONEST. I am a people pleaser to a fault! Thanks for sharing. So precious!!!

That is adorable!
And I just checkout the other video...that is amazing how similar they are!

We listen to a children's audio tape series called The Pond...and in one episode the duck let's everyone tell him what to do so his friends help his learn to say no. At first he just can't...then finally he does it...and can't stop! Tony the Frog says..."Great. You turned him into a two year old." :)

That was such a sweet video! I love the tickling laughter and all the faces she was making - we do a LOT of tickling here at our house. It's so funny to see how identical the two videos are! What a sweet girl she is- looks like you guys have tons of fun together.

It's funny from your message yesterday we even have some similarities too :) I didn't graduate in '92, but '93. Happy early 7 years to the two of you!
