A Treasure Revisited

Back in June I did this Treasure Tuesday post on notecards with Kayla's picture painted on them from the artist Michael Jurogue Johnson. I enjoy going to his website and seeing his paintings of children and animals...he does beautiful work!

A while ago I sent him another picture of Kayla (I needed a more updated card!). This is the picture I sent:

Last week I received the set of notecards transforming Kayla into a scene with a winter wonderland:

Didn't he do a great job!? I think she looks a little older in the painting too - gives me a glimpse into her future :)

That's also a sweet tradition you have now, to continue getting her portrait done like that. Very nice!

I tagged you for a meme Michelle - hope you don't mind. Just set it aside for another time if you are as busy as everyone else is. I just thought it might be fun. Susie tagged me!!
You girls have a fun day.

Michelle - I just went to Pamela's blog and discovered she had already tagged you. So I'll excuse you from mine.....not that we think you're weird or anything :) Seriously - you aren't a bit weird. Just sweet and kind. I, on the other hand, turn out to be decidedely weird.
