Grains of Gratitude

I have a few gifts to be grateful for this past week!

1. Grateful for
Kathleen Marie hosting her Ornament Exchange and grateful Carole was my swap partner. Carole is just so nice and thoughtful and really packed a lot of goodies in her box to me. I know I said it already, but thanks again Carole!

2. I mention it every month, but Friday was Bunco night and that is definitely something to be grateful for! Us ladies always look forward to that one night. This is the prize I won on Friday night. Isn't it a cute serving tray for the holidays? And I love snowmen.

3. Grateful for being at the right place at the right time. Yesterday we went to the BX and as we were walking in the main part of the store one of the employees was standing there and asked if we wanted to get our name in the drawing she was just about to do. I thought what the heck, why not? I didn't really see all the stuff on the table - just a basket with some goodies and wine and a couple of mugs. I guess there were a few other things I didn't notice. So I filled out a slip for each of us and we walked away. She started calling names and there was my name! I joked to Joe it was probably a mug (she had already given away the "big" prize). When I got back to her she handed me this cute little bag (and I had been looking for another purse too!) I went to show Joe and that's when I noticed there were goodies from Elizabeth Arden inside the bag - score! Who can't use some free lipstick, eye shadows, mascara, lotion and facial creams? Made my day!

4. Grateful for the MOPS Christmas Extravaganza where I had a table for Discovery Toys I was able to sell off some of the discontinued items that were taking up too much space in the closet (well all that did was make more room for the current/new products!) I also had a few people place orders for Christmas so that was nice for me!

5. Grateful for the programs on base to keep the kids busy! Kayla is enjoying gymnastics and storytime at the library on Wednesdays and gives us something to do!

Thanks
Christine for starting this weekly Grains of Gratitude!

You've been lucky! I don't think i've ever won anything before. The purse is cute!

How does Kayla like gymnastics? I need to get Shaylee enrolled in some tap classes, she loves to make noise with her feet.

There is just something about being grateful that blesses us and those around us. I think God might have mentioned that somewhere :)
It blessed me to read all the things you are grateful for. That little bag was a great prize. I really could use a new lipstick.
Have a wonderful sunday.

What a cute little bag you won. Doesn't it feel so great when you get an unexpected gift? The tray you got from Bunco is cute, too. I don't really remember much about how to play but I know I had a good time the one time I did. Miss you.
