Treasure Tuesday

Before I start with my treasure, I wanted to mention that I'm a guest blogger over at Overwhelmed's today. So if you want to see what I had to say go visit over there!

Treasure
My treasure is The What To Expect When You're Expecting Pregnancy Organizer. I enjoyed writing down little details from my pregnancy with Kayla, how the appointments went, what I was feeling, when I first felt her move.
Little things like:

At 10.5 wks we heard the heartbeat very briefly - how exciting!

Ultrasound at 12 wks - It was so unbelievable and amazing! We saw this tiny little human on the screen - that's our baby!

16 weeks and 6 days - Today at work, sitting at the computer, I felt what was like a poke inside my tummy! It caught me by surprise as this was something a little harder then the "flutters" I thought I was feeling. I felt it 3 more times and had to call Joe at work to share the news.

26 weeks - Tonight my stomach looked as if I swallowed a bag of Mexican jumping beans!

31 weeks - I can't believe how often this baby gets hiccups!

38 weeks and 5 days (this was my last entry in the journal as Kayla was born the next day!) We finally finished the nursery this weekend and it looks pretty good! Last night I had some cramp-type feelings. I don't think it was BH contractions because it felt different, but it wasn't in any pattern either - just off and on. I'll find out tomorrow if I'm any more dilated. (I had a regular appt scheduled the next day.)

I'm so thankful I have this to look back on, because I wouldn't be able to remember all those details without it!

Go visit Faith, creator of "Treasure Tuesday" to read about other treasures.

That's beautiful! I've kept my calendars from each pregnancy year - just straight-forward calendars with doctor's appointments and such on them.

Awe, that is so wonderful to have all those memories written down in one place so you can share with Kayla, as she is a little treasure. :) Thanks for the tag, I did it.

Wonderful, I also talked about my treasure being a book, isn't it amazing how books can become our treasures in happy or difficult times?

Thanks for sharing Michelle :)

Michelle,

Thanks for being one of my guest bloggers while I was gone. As always, your post was wonderful!

The organizer that you mention in this post sounds neat. I think I'll recommend it to a friend of mine that is due in February.

That is a wonderful treasure! I've never been great about journaling, but now with the girls, I try to write more down because I don't want to forget any of it!
