Thank you and prayer request

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!!

Ok ok, I said "30 + something years ago" and the actual years is 33...but it's not such a bad number! Hey Larry Bird (Boston Celtics) wore # 33 and Jason Varitek (Boston Red Sox) wears # 33 (ok ok, enough sports references from me!)

So now for the prayer request. The reason we're actually here in Alb is because Kayla is having a cardiac catheterization procedure to close her PDA (small hole in her heart). The hospital is 3 hrs away so we have to spend the night. It's an outpatient procedure, but we can't drive home tomorrow since we live so far away...they want us to stay in town just in case anything happens - and she's supposed to be pretty much laying flat after that and you can't do that in a car seat!

So her procedure is bright and early tomorrow morning...please keep her in your thoughts and prayers for this to go smoothly and that she won't give us any problems in recovery having to lay still...she doesn't know the meaning of staying still!!

Well we're off to the mall to go to Kiddie Kandids to (hopefully) get her 3 yr old portraits done...she didn't want to cooperate much last year when we were here!

Sending you lots of good thoughts. I can't imagine trying to keep a 3 year old lying still - so good luck to you!

I hope you find something nice for your birthday.

I will lift her up in prayer. And maybe you could say a little prayer for my great-niece tomorrow. I don't know if you've discovered my niece, Sarah (In The Midst of It). Her three month old daughter, Addison, is having open heart surgery tomorrow. So let's all pray for both these babies.

Oh, I hope all goes well with Kayla's outpatient procedure and heals quickly!

Which mall are you shopping at? Oronzo and I used to live in Cottonwood Ranch apartments across from Cottonwood Mall, until we moved into a house in Rio Rancho. I used to work at First State Bank. We lived in Albuquerque for 2 years and I sometimes miss it!

Oh my gosh. I hope that went very well - she'll be in my prayers.
You're a year younger than me, by the way. I liked being 33.
