Breakfast anyone?

So Kayla was "cooking" me some breakfast the other day ... it was quite a feast as we talked about eating sausages, eggs, pancakes, waffles and orange juice. (Quite delicious for a toddler's cooking!)

We were having fun "cooking" and "eating" and then silly me had to go and ruin it by actually trying to video tape her...I think she's tired of seeing the camera in her face!

So for everyone who thinks she is always so happy and smiling and cooperative these videos are for you! I try explaining that for every smiling shot I get of her I usually take 20+ pictures - same goes with the video!

Now she's not screaming and crying and throwing a fit in these videos - but you can definitely tell she was in a MOOD! She didn't want me taping her and she didn't want to cooperate.

Wait until you see the look she gives me at the end of the second video! Watch out!

Ouch! That glare!! I think Sophia gets tired of the camera, too. She'll be so cute & funny, then sees my cam & completely stops. Stinkers!

LOL that was hilarious. My kids get that way too, I think they're tired of me having the camera in their faces everytime they do something cute LOL

She's just adorable, I love the videos :)

Oh, these are too precious! I love the disgusted look she gives you at the end of the 2nd one!

I'm constantly asking Snuggle Bug, "Can you say [insert word here]" and he usually humors me for a while and then gets impatient.

Unfortunately my internet is too slow to watch the videos......Kendall though, even at her worst is still way sweeter than my other two children when they are unhappy...LOL I have heard from a source who will remain unnamed that children with Downs Syndrome get "tempermental" with age....that of course didn't set well with me!(I dont believe that per se)Anyhow you still have such a happy little girl and that is evidence of your and your husbands parenting skills.

Oh where have I seen the expression in the 2nd one... :)

That is too funny how she sticks her belly out. Miss E uses her belly as a distraction frequently.

In fact, any time she wants to change the subject she sticks her belly out, pulls up her shirt and plays with her belly button-it is hilarious-but not effective in distracting mama these days :)

That's hilarious - what a dark look! My daughter shields her face from the camera like a paparrazzi-besieged starlet - as if they could ever get tired of having their pictures taken every three seconds!
