Reunited....soon!

Kayla (and the grandparents too!) will be here soon! We get to see our baby girl again...although a part of me is really enjoying the quiet, the sleeping in, the not having to entertain a toddler, etc...I do miss her! But I am enjoying time away too - mommy guilt - no getting around it is there?!

Grandma sent some pictures from their day at the park yesterday. They have this really nice playground called Imagination Station and grandma reported that Kayla had a blast and 'doesn't know a stranger does she?' Yep! That's my Kayla!

I think she looks a little sad in this picture - missing mom & dad maybe?

News on the vacation front - we haven't had the best of weather so that's been a bummer! Today it's done nothing but rain! Oh well...just a couple more hours and we'll have entertainment in the form of a 2.5 yr old!

Yep, you have the "mommy guilt" when we miss our kids, but, at the same time we enjoy the "alone time",sleeping in and just doing what you want to do...Hey, you are only human!!! But, it also means, how much you truly do LOVE your Kayla!!! What wonderful pictures
Grandma took of Kayla..She doesn't look sad, she looks like, ok, where else can I go in this park to have fun...and thanks Grandma for bringing me here! To bad about the weather, raining and all. but , maybe the weather will be nice when Kayla is there and grandparents too.. Enjoy... love mom

I am sure she will be quite happy to see mom and dad, but it looks like she had a great time with her grandparents.

MOther's day will have a whole new meaning now! You will both appreciate each other so much more.
Good for you that you tow got to get away alone. It is much easierwith just one then three.

Somehow, I stumbled across your blog, and I am so glad I did! Your daughter is absolutely beautiful and DOES have blueberry eyes! I've been pulled in and hope you don't mind my posting and/or lurking here! I hope you're having a wonderful vacation and that you can fit all of her new toys in the car on the way back! :)
