Splitting His $20 Bill

Last year Lucas found a $20 bill in a parking lot. It's still in his piggy bank.

A few weeks ago he asked me, "Mom can you give me two $10 bills for my $20?"

Me, "Ok, but how come you want two 10s for the 20?"

L, "Because I'm going to give $10 to the homeless shelter and $10 to the animal shelter."

M, "Wow, you're going to donate the whole $20?"

L, "Yeah."

M, "Awww, that's so generous of you honey."

Without missing a beat Kayla exclaims, "He's not your honey! DAD is your honey!"
