I'm also linking this to Just For the Joy Of It because kids really do find such joy in the simple things - like jumping and playing in a pile of leaves!
We had nice weather on Sunday, (they didn't need hats, but they wanted to wear them). I raked up a pile of leaves and the kids just had fun jumping, throwing, and burying themselves in leaves.
Joy in the little things!
Ahh, sweet memories!
ReplyDeleteWhy is it I think that looks wonderful, but I have a hard time letting go and letting my kids do that? I get way too caught up in "getting it done".
ReplyDeleteLol at the wanting but not needing hats thing. THe little girl I babysit for insists on wearing TWO hats. I promise not to tell Kayla or Lucas about this idea!
ReplyDeleteAnd that would have been one of my favorite things as a kid, but in my mind now I'm just going "Tick check!!!!!!" Idk if you guys have the insane deer ticks we have in NY
Looks like fun! I love the pink camo hat!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute photos! I love the last one with the hat over her eyes :)

Great pics, Michelle! I love playing in the leaves, and so does Samantha, although she hasn't had opportunity this year to actually jump in a pile of leaves. She just throws herself on the ground on top of the few leaves that are there and shouts "leaf!" LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful day to do that on Sunday!!
awww so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWe love leaves here too!
Oh what fun! Making memories!
ReplyDeleteThey are so sweet Michelle. And they are getting so big! Those are great photos:)
