  1. We were born the same year -- which should make both of us... 29, right?? :)

  3. Dude, you're younger than me! By a year. I remember someone gave me a big stack of old Mad magazines when I was a kid (remember Mad?), and I was all baffled as to who Spiro Agnew was.

  8. School House Rock premiers: I loved School House Rock. I still remember some of the songs. That's kind of sad. I feel old (and I'm older than you:D)

I was born when Volves V was cool. Before I went to school, Bobsey Twins was a hit. When I was in high school, looking "preppy" was in. After graduating from college, almost everybody knows Duran Duran.

I started working when typewriters were still preferred over WordStar. Lotus 1-2-3 was considered a program for the genius. And everybody preferred glossy or matte over the thing called Photoshop.

  14. Wow, Michelle. This didn't really hit me until I read about the Exocist and Roberta Flack's song. This is a very interesting blogthing. I wonder how many of us actually know the major events that happened the year we were born.

I'm afraid to do mine. I'm sure it would say, "Dinosaurs were on their way to becoming extinct." LOL
