I posted previously that my dad is battling cancer again. His latest cat scan showed the lesions on his liver have increased. His dr is taking him off the chemo he had been on (thinking it's not working for him anymore) and trying a different chemo. Prayers are appreciated that this other chemo will start to reduce those tumors and that the side effects won't be too harsh for my dad. Thank you!
Kayla has captivating blue eyes...her grandmother and great-grandmother have always said she has these "big blueberry eyes" - and Kayla is now joined by younger brother Lucas; also sporting those big blueberry eyes!

Christmas in FL
We went to FL to see my dad and his wife for a few days for Christmas. My brother and his family were there from TN. I hadn't seen him in a few years, so it was nice for us to all be together. Sure wish we could get together more often!

Where abouts in Florida were you? That's where we're stationed now and we love the weather here! I'll be praying for your dad and guidance for his doctors!
ReplyDeleteour prayers ,thoughts are with you and your brothers and especially your dad. love mom
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry there isn't better news with your dad. Glad you got to have a visit. I'll be praying for him and for you.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to your Dad and his recovery. Has anyone told you how much you, your Dad and Kayla resemble each other?
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled upon your blog because my friend started a blog about her child who has downs syndrome and I found yours.
ReplyDeleteBut then I saw labels titled "cancer" and I decided to look because my mom and sister battled cancer.
I'm wishing your dad the best.
