Hers were huge also but what a difference it made. I hope your little one doesn't need hers out but if she does, it will go smoothly. Alexys took 10 min to remove and she was talking an hour later... Hopefully you will get the answers you're looking for soon. If she is diagnosed as having Celiac's Disease, then yes, it will be a bit of a lifestyle change where food is concerned but as Janeen says, it's doable:-)

Both my boys had their tonsils removed when they were 3 years old, as well as their adenoids. They were sore for a few days but it never takes kids long to get back up on their feet:-) Sending you all big hugs across the miles. xoxoCarole Buranthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497329055251626140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24014954.post-39367634795212762592009-03-27T07:16:00.000-04:002009-03-27T07:16:00.000-04:00What a precious little girl! Good luck with your new lifestyle!

One thing that struck me was the part about the tonsils. Would you mind e-mailing me the name of your ENT? It's interesting that nothing has been said before about the tonsils. Maybe the ENT didn't think it was an issue? Just curious- we are about to see an ENT next week about my daughter's tonsils- and since we live in the same area it's a possibility that it might be the same person. We do a mix: some homemade and some store bought. It takes some getting used to, but it's doable and not as hard as it seems.
I'm also going gluten free today so now half of our house is gluten free. Jason has been gluten free for 4 years now so it's really nothing new for me. If you have any questions, please e-mail me. There are so many great recipe blogs too that you will be able to make just about anything.
Is there a Celiac support group in your area? They will be able to help you too. Don't forget that gluten hides in school supplies, play dough, medicines, personal care products and vitamins too.ChupieandJ'smama (Janeen)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12367131116081742274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24014954.post-30537348348199223262009-03-26T15:52:00.000-04:002009-03-26T15:52:00.000-04:00So happy that everything went smoothly for Kayla. ...So happy that everything went smoothly for Kayla.
